1. Scope of Application These General Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to all business relationships between Steadysocks (Eneas Hensel) (hereinafter "Seller") and the customer (hereinafter "Customer") via the online shop.

2. Conclusion of Contract The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the "Buy" / "Order" button, the Customer places a binding order for the goods in the shopping cart. The contract is concluded only when the Seller dispatches the goods to the Customer.

3. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF).

  • Since the Seller is not yet subject to VAT (Small Enterprise Regulation), no VAT is listed or charged.

  • Payment is due immediately upon ordering.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery is made from international warehouses directly to the Customer's address.

  • Delivery times stated in the shop are estimates. Delays due to customs or logistics partners do not entitle the Customer to cancel the order or claim damages.

5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Important)

  • The Customer is the importer of record.

  • Deliveries from abroad may be subject to customs duties and import taxes once the shipment reaches Switzerland.

  • These charges are the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Seller has no influence over these fees. Refusal to pay customs fees does not constitute a valid reason for a return or refund.

6. No Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

  • In accordance with Swiss law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases.

  • Hygiene Exception: Since the products sold are hygiene articles (socks), all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for non-defective items (e.g., wrong size ordered, change of mind).

  • Defective Goods: If the goods are defective or damaged upon arrival, the Customer must contact the Seller within 5 days. The Seller will provide a replacement or refund at their discretion.

7. Warranty The Seller warrants that the products are free from material defects. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product or a refund of the purchase price. Any further liability for direct or indirect damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Liability The Seller is not liable for slight negligence. Liability for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost profit) is excluded.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by Swiss Law, excluding the UN Sales Convention (CISG).

  • The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Zurich, Switzerland.
